Before we share your story
let me tell you mine...
My name is Jackie. I’m 36 years old, a self-taught photographer, wife, mom of 5, and self proclaimed sugar addict. I like big skies, bold, true to life colors, connection, and emotive imagery.
It may sound cliche but I can't remember a time I didn't have a camera in my hand. It started with my poor younger sisters who had to endure photoshoots in the backyard where I played the role of stylist, hairdresser, make up artist, and photographer.

They happily passed on their role as muses once my children started to arrive. I was a fresh 20 year old college student when my first baby arrived. As you can imagine, there wasn't much in the way of funds for beautiful newborn images, so I had to go without, and it's something that still makes me sad 17 years later. I have traveled through many seasons since then. Some have required me to put down my camera, and focus on that season of life, but I always feel inspired to pick it back up after the proverbial dust has settled. After the birth of my youngest son three years ago that desire to create beautiful images grew again, and I found an absolute passion for photographing newborns. Since then I have taken part in intensive workshops on newborn photography from some of the top newborn photographers in the industry. Learning the ins and outs of lighting, posing, and most importantly safety when handling these sweet little miracles. I love every single aspect of this job, and I feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with your most precious creations. I can't wait to meet you!
