What more can you say. A photo shoot is not usually high on their list of favorite things to do.Most come to their sessions dreading the next hour ahead of them, but do so, begrudgingly, to make mom happy. However, regardless of their excitement level over the process, in my experience THEY want awesome images at the end of the day, if they have to do them, they want them be good. While I love a good extravagant senior session full of outfit changes, location changes, poses, etc, there is just something about a good simple, and streamlined senior session that most boys want. This is exactly how Northview High School senior Logan's session went! When he mentioned that he wanted to start downtown Grand Rapids for his session I was thrilled at the chance to shoot in a setting completely different than normal. (So excited in fact, that I convinced my daughter to go downtown so I could have a practice session at all the cool spots)
Seriously, how cool is this background!
From downtown we hopped in our cars and drove to Saugatuck to sneak in some beach photos! By the time we got there I could tell that the senior picture experience was starting to be less painful for Logan. (I even got a few smiles out of him) I learned that Logan epitomize the phrase work hard play hard, and about his new hobby: boat racing!! How cool is that!
Logan is also currently working on becoming an EMT while finishing up his last year of high school. I had such a great time getting to know a little about Logan and I'm sending all the best wishes for a great senior year! Go Wildcats!
